SMMDH2 - Timber Measuring and Manipulation System II

The application is designed to simplify the process of measuring and cutting logs in a log yard more efficient and convenient.

The delivered log or cutout is measured using electronic non-contact measuring system and is clearly displayed to the operator on the control panel, including all necessary parameters such as length, center diameter, volume, curvature etc. All parameters of all logs and cut logs are stored in the database for later reporting.

SMPD – Timber Measuring System for Belt Conveyors

Application for non-contact electronic measurement of logs and cutouts moved by a belt conveyor.

Each measured log and cutout is registered in the database, including all measured parameters such as length, center diameter, volume, pin diameter etc. The total number of pieces and the total wood volume per shift is displayed on a light display or monitor.

SMMOP – Timber Measuring and Manipulation System for Sawmill Edgers

The application is designed for automation of the sawmill edgers, when working with raw boards.

Before entering the sawmill edger, the surface of the raw board is measured and analyzed. The resulting parameters are sent to the sawmill edger.

The system works completely automatically. Each measured piece is registered in the database, including all resulting parameters such as length, minimal board width, edge dimensions etc. The total number of pieces and the total wood volume per shift is displayed on a light display or monitor.

SMPP – Timber Measuring System for Band Saws

The application is intended for measurements directly in the area of a band saw with a log carriage.

The cutting process is not limited in any way. The measurement can be completely automatic. Each measured piece is registered in the database, including all resulting parameters such as length, minimal board width, center diameter, volume etc. The total number of pieces and the total wood volume per shift is displayed on a light display or monitor.

DATA TRANSFER - Transfer Data to or from Third Party Applications

If you are already digitally measuring the parameters of logs or cutouts at your sawmill and you also want to store this data in the same database as the data from one of our applications, then we can tailor-make a tool for transferring the measured data to our database. You can use one application(smdhReport) to browse all the data.

We can also create our own exports of our data, which will be used in third-party applications and systems.

SMDH Report - Reporting and Browsing Measured Data

The application is used to browse data in the database stored in the database by our measuring applications (SMMDH2, SMPD, SMMOP, SMPP, etc.).

Data can be filtered, sorted, grouped and exported to many formats. The application includes built-in print reports. These reports can be customized.
